Board Challenging

(Online, Self-paced) Class

Class offering to current licensed individuals wanting to challenge the North Carolina State Board of Cosmetic Arts Instructor licensure exams.

Example topics will include how to form a lesson plan, syllabus review, classroom set-ups, observations and demonstrations.

To qualify, you must meet the minimum requirement of:

Cosmetologist, Esthetician, Natural Haircare or Manicurist has been in active practice of cosmetic art in a cosmetic art shop for a period equivalent to one year of fulltime work

To apply, for the Board Challenge Boot Camp, you will need:

  1. Current North Carolina State issued cosmetic arts license

  2. Paid, non-refundable, application fee of $129

To Secure your seat once accepted by the institute:

  1. Down Payment of $180 (non-refundable) to secure your seat for the class.

  2. Device with internet access to complete on-line assignments
